(Chatsworth, CA October 29, 2014) – Space Vector Corporation, a privately owned small business, announced today that it has successfully completed qualification testing of its new 20 Ah Lithium-ion Polymer (Li-Po) system battery. The ruggedized battery was exposed to flight and transportation vibration, altitude, and thermal cycling as well as various UN38.3 tests. At just under 10 lbs and only 10.3”x6.7”x2.6”, the battery is capable of delivering over 200 A continuously (C10) in severe missile environments.
