Space Vector Completes Delivery of Range Qualified Li-Ion Batteries for Flight Termination

(Chatsworth, CA August 8, 2018) Space Vector Corporation (SVC) announces that our 2.5 Amp-Hour Lithium Ion Flight Termination System (FTS) battery P/N 39401 has successfully completed all its qualification testing to Range Commanders Council (RCC) 319-14 requirements. Space Vector recently completed the first production run of batteries to the US Army Redstone Test Center and the batteries are already being flown on several missile systems undergoing testing at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) along with our rack mounted charger/analyzers P/N 500451. SVC designed, qualified and delivered this new generation of rechargeable, lightweight FTS batteries and chargers/analyzers and is now in recurring production. 80 batteries and 25 chargers have already been delivered to a variety of customers for use at different launch ranges across the country.
