(Chatsworth, CA  December 12, 2018) Space Vector Corporation (SVC) announces that it has won an award for the U.S. Air Force’s Sounding Rocket Program-4 (SRP-4). Space Vector will be a prime system integrator for this critical program, with overall system responsibility providing system engineering, vehicle design, manufacturing, integration and launch support services. This indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a total potential value of up to $424 million will be used to meet Department of Defense and other government agency requirements for suborbital research, development, and test launch services, including prototype demonstrations and missile defense targets. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with a seven-year ordering period. Space and Missile Systems Center, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, is the contracting activity.
